[2628.9s] you reach the edge of the city of Saraloon,
[2633.5s] and Saraloon is a harbor city.
[2638.8s] You see the sea out beyond
[2644.2s] as you kind of crest over this large hill
[2646.8s] that rolls down towards the coastline.
[2649.1s] It's very Gothic architecture,
[2653.6s] and as you get up to it,
[2656.8s] and even before, as you're kind of walking in,
[2659.9s] you notice that you're being watched
[2663.8s] by several helms or guards
[2667.5s] dressed in full metal plate,
[2670.5s] and they appear to be patrolling.
[2675.3s] None of them on the further outskirts stop you.
[2677.6s] They just kind of watch you
[2678.9s] as you're going by, observing.
[2681.4s] But as you get to the gates,
[2683.6s] it opens up and into the city,
[2685.9s] and you are stopped by two of these helmed guards,
[2689.8s] and they step out in front of you.
[2691.7s] They are each carrying a large spear and shield,
[2695.9s] and they step up to your carriage as you slow down,
[2698.7s] and they say,
[2699.9s] what is your business in Saraloon?
[2703.2s] Hello, friends.
[2705.2s] We are heading, we are just passing through
[2709.6s] to get to a boat to send a scroll to Layden Menda.
[2718.4s] It worked last time when we mentioned his name,
[2720.4s] so maybe it's gonna work this time.
[2722.3s] It's worth a shot.
[2724.4s] So you're here on business.
[2727.7s] Yeah, I'm not.
[2728.6s] Courier business.
[2729.4s] Yeah, courier business.
[2730.2s] We're just messenger boys and lady.

[2738.4s] takes a step back and allows you through and into the city.

[2746.9s] They allow you to roll by, and you're in the city.
[2749.9s] It is, as you get in, you see more of this
[2753.6s] is Gothic architecture, and sprinkled throughout,
[2756.6s] you see high up on many buildings,
[2760.2s] gargoyles and other similar decorations.
[2765.0s] Just so you know, this type of architecture is
[2769.0s] Gothic architecture, you can tell
[2770.6s] because of all the really sad,
[2772.8s] angry-looking stuff around.
[2774.6s] And when you look at the buildings,
[2776.6s] you too get a feeling of being sad and angry,
[2779.7s] and it just makes you want to be alone
[2781.6s] and listen to all chemical romance.
[2784.5s] Have you guys?
[2786.5s] I don't know if I know them.

[2788.8s] Yeah, it's a band.

[2812.7s] buildings, just as in books and other types of art
[2816.6s] are meant to evoke different types of emotions.

[2865.6s] and as you're walking through it,
[2867.0s] everybody make a perception check.

[2880.1s] you see many different symbols.
[2883.1s] Some on like banners and flags.
[2886.8s] Some painted on or scrawled on different walls.
[2891.6s] You see one of what looks like an eyeless mask.
[2897.4s] It has, you can see the nose and mouth
[2899.8s] but completely smooth over the eyes.
[2903.1s] You see images on some glimpses specifically.
[2908.9s] You see like smaller icons for lack of a better term
[2915.3s] of like two blades, two daggers or knives crossed
[2920.1s] and they're almost like they're trying to be hidden
[2925.0s] but still obvious that they're there.
[2928.6s] Just kind of worked into the architecture around them
[2932.3s] and predominantly as you get further
[2935.4s] into the center of this city,
[2937.1s] before you hit the dock area,
[2941.4s] you see an image of a dragon head
[2945.8s] and five distinctly colored scratches behind that head.
[2953.2s] You know that to be the symbol of the cult of the dragon.
[2960.1s] Guys, do you see that?
[2963.2s] That one.
[2964.1s] The two gargoyles humping over there?
[2966.9s] That's an interesting choice.
[2968.8s] That's, I mean I guess gargoyles gotta be like grandma
[2973.8s] and sugar, no, so that symbol that's a dragon,

[3083.5s] And out overlooking the coast,
[3086.9s] you see the harbor and it is filled with ships.
